Let's Talk About 2020-22: Saturn in Aquarius (+tips)
New global trends alter our individualistic FREEDOM. Our understanding of SOCIETY is never going to be the same.  But at what cost?

The Most Important Planetary Cycles of 2020-22

We found ourselves at the turning point of the world's history and the planets in the sky (and their positions) reflect that. Here's a list of the cycles worth remembering:

    a) Saturn/Pluto conjunction [Capricorn]
    b) Jupiter/Pluto conjunction [Capricorn]
    c) Jupiter/Saturn in Aquarius and their conjunction
    d) Saturn/Uranus square [Aquarius/Taurus]

It's time to roll up your sleeves and pull up your pants because MANY matters require our active attention and will continue to require it for the next few years. This is a challenge (after all there's a lot on our minds lately), but on the other hand we can take a very big step forward in our lives.

I want to show you how to use the planet's energy to improve the  quality of your life. Let's start from looking at Aquarius ...

    Aquarius' Busy Schedule

2020-2022 looks very promising and ... abundant for Aquarius and everyone with planets/personal points in that sign. Take a look:

    1) Saturn's travel through Aquarius.
    Approximate duration: March 23th - July 1st 2020 and December 18th 2020 - March 8th 2023.

    2) Jupiter's travel through Aquarius.
    Approximate duration: December 20th 2020 - May 14th 2021, and July 29th - December 29th 2021.

    3) Jupiter-Saturn conjunction (!)
Approximate duration: November - December 2020.

    4) Saturn-Uranus square

Approximate duration: January - June 2021, turn of 2021/22 and August - November 2022.

Of all those above, the biggest challenge poses Saturn with its 2,5-year stay in Aquarius. If you can handle it, you can handle everything else.

Saturn in Aquarius - What's About to Happen?

Saturn's journey throughout a zodiac sign heralds the limitations in the spheres of life associated with that sign. With Aquarius we're talking about:

    - numerous social restrictions. And so we have e.g. the phenomenon of social distancing, which in turn promotes the search for methods of communication (and work) utilizing modern/sophisticated technological solutions (as opposed to traditional ones).

cat wearing mask- the burden of social responsibility. Aquarius is a fixed sign, not inclined to bend one's knee to please others, especially when Aquarius is the one doing the bending i.e. cutting off its freedom. In the face of quarantine, we will all rebel against isolation at some stage although keeping in mind the fact that "our behavior affects others". This will lead to dilemmas and next to frustration.

    - the limit of freedom of movement, including the impression that we must trade it to maintain certain personal freedoms.

    - impatience towards those who cannot see/think/function progressively; impatience towards those reluctant to go through changes that we may consider necessary.

    - numerous breakthroughs related to alternative structures, technologies. All preceded by social restrictions.

Saturn in Aquarius means a global trend of structures/authorities building a sense of security around alternative technologies and other progressive goals benefiting society. From a different perspective: the only beneficiates of the progressiveness could become individual social groups who consider themselves unique and beyond all boundaries.

    Sounds Familiar?

You already know all of that, probably experienced in first hand. So why I've stated all of this?

In order to tell you that all those restrictions are not going away in the nearest future. While there's only so much one can do to make the setbacks NOT be long-term (2,5-year is a must), the goal is to make the opportunities NOT short-term.

I'd like to point out one matter - with Saturn there's a deep need to conserve. On a positive side we can conserve the modern solutions for many issues e.g. make remote work common and socially acceptable. On the negative side many may want to conserve the restrictions and make them an everyday theme.

    About the Jupiter-Saturn Conjunction

One has to look at the restrictions with a grain of salt because you see ...

The long-term burden of the restrictions won't be visible at first glance, because Jupiter's entry to Aquarius suggests e.g. growth, abundance, expansion rather than shrinking.

So we'll find both Jupiter and Saturn in Aquarius, on top of that forming a conjunction.

Approximate duration of the conjunction: November - December 2020, but in fact until the end of 2021 (until Jupiter does not permanently enter the Pisces mark) The breakthrough moments of the cycle [+/- 7 days]: December 22, 2020.

Notice that Jupiter will meet Saturn at the very beginning of Aquarius. Next Jupiter shall continue its journey through Aquarius and leave it at some point while Saturn remains in this sign for more than a year. Here's what this means...

    Unraveling The Aquarius' Promise

At the very beginning we can expect a breath of freshness: an expansion of freedom, technology, new progressive solutions, although they'll leave much to be desired [because Saturn]. As if expectations were not entirely met. It's very probable that a new world-economics scenario will be presented - not without social questioning if the good outweigh the bad. There may be too much optimistic intentions behind this "start", too expansive assumptions.

Think of how new technologies are developing. One can see how ordinary people use 3d printers in order to provide equipment for hospitals and front-line workers. Some companies started to use mini robots for food delivery.

And at the same time Israel and Taiwan launched a system (mobile app) for tracking people infected with Covid-19 virus AND people that were around those infected. Russia started to use the face recognition system (publically tested in China) via drones that catch all those not complying with the quarantine. The reason for installing such a comprehensive system during the pandemic is in order to "monitor even the darkest corners of the streets". Monitoring but at what cost?

Ultimately we'll see the full scope of the progressive changes. At that point Jupiter will leave Aquarius and with that we'll have to take off rose-colored glasses. We'll revise the extend of the original optimism and look at the truth in the eyes - now that we're all familiar with the new, social restrictions become visible again. Because you see ...

    Nothing To Laugh At

Restrictions having Saturn as a patron aren't a joke. Saturn is not in the habit of relieving psychological pressure until all the lessons have been given sufficient attention. The level of this "sufficient" attention will strongly depend on our past and our willingness to build our own character in the face of adversity.

At times you may feel you're exploding from the pressure, but the reward for perseverance is an weaknesses overcoming, deep knowledge and experience that will pay off over time (you can be sure of that).

The Most Difficult Moment of Saturn's Journey Through Aquarius ...

...  happens at the time Saturn squares Uranus, mainly in the first half of 2021 and in 2022.

On that time, all the Aquarian challenges mentioned so far will require the most of our attention. Saturn and Uranus prone to ask ourselves the question "How life affects me as a member of society?".

See a Deeper Dimension In Life

Saturn in Aquarius is about tangibly experiencing the trans-personal dimension of life. One of the first lessons to learn is as follows: not everyone is at the stage of development allowing one to deal with the trans-personal. To learn this one needs a lot of patience and acceptance.

Saturn in Aquarius teaches forgiveness although we know it more than we would feel it (the latter is the domain of Saturn in Pisces).

We'll all want to be treated equally; we'll want rules to be enforced in the same way to others as they are enforced to us. What fuels those needs is... the desire for brotherhood/unity, both requiring justice. This is more of a social judgment, compared to a judgment of the structures, elites, VIP's and the designed system (Saturn in Capricorn).

Six Tips For Saturn In Aquarius

    1) approach issues little by little, have a sense of accomplishment while taking small steps. These are not changes that are made in an instant (though you can do it). These changes take time and effort. At some point life will "test" you and your discipline/dedication.

    2) challenge. It's not like imposed restrictions are necessary, at least not in the form they initially appeared in. Saturn promotes questioning and asking the question "Is it worth it? And if so, to what extent." The most important thing in the whole process is the discovery of one's Self - a Self that is not burdened with cultural constrictions or parental conditioning.

    3) use research, knowledge distilled of emotions, someone's personal agenda/mindset. You will intuitively seek durability and security through clear knowledge. Often times such information can be obtained by spending time in organized social groups, smaller or larger communities centered around a given topic/idea.

    4) get along with others. With Saturn in Aquarius a sense of order/security are established through interaction with the society. Some will have to deal with the fear of alienation through being different. Time and real experience will show that you can compete, argue with others etc. and still be on the same side of the "playing field".

    5) appreciate and celebrate your own uniqueness. The more you have contact with what makes you special (unique/exotic talent, skill), the less opportunities others have to dictate you how to live.

    6) change what you identify with, especially if you identify with those ever-changing social labels. Numerous restrictions will show you that many things are not necessary to survive and do not define you at all and who you are.
